We’re going to serve a double shot of humor with your jazz by exploring the talents of Dave Frishberg, a jazz pianist, vocalist, composer and lyricist, who became known as the Stephen Sondheim or, more accurately, the Woody Allen of jazz, because his songs are known for their acerbic, but not cruel, observations about ourselves, the games people play, and our society. I think most of us can relate to many of his observations.
