Leslie Stoval, Dick Conte, and Claire Mack — have been selected for induction into the San Francisco Bay Area Radio Hall of Fame as part of the BARHOF Class of 2026. They will be celebrated at Radio Day by the Bay in Alameda on July 18 and the BARHOF Induction Luncheon on October 10 .

This is a meaningful recognition of three remarkable KCSM broadcasters whose work has helped shape Bay Area radio, music, and community life. Their induction also reflects the depth of talent, history, and cultural impact at KCSM.

Leslie Stoval’s nearly 50-year career included some of the Bay Area’s most important radio stations, with her final chapter here at KCSM. She brought us warmth, elegance, musical knowledge, and deep listener connection to jazz at KCSM.

Dick Conte’s induction honors a life in jazz as a broadcaster, pianist, educator, and advocate for the music. His voice, musicianship, and deep knowledge have long been part of KCSM’s connection to the Bay Area jazz community.

Claire Mack’s induction recognizes her contributions to Bay Area media, public service, and community-centered broadcasting. Her work reflected the kind of voice and civic presence that have strengthened public media across the region.
