As a freelance woodwind and keyboard performer, composer, arranger, and conductor in the San Francisco Bay Area, Tim has performed with many artists including jazz musicians James Moody, Toshiko Akiyoshi, Gary Foster, Bill Yeager, Kim Richmond, Eddie Marshall, Dmitri Metheny and John Tchichai, as well as many pop artists, including Natalie Cole, Donna Summer, the Temptations, the Four Tops, Barry White, Johnny Mathis and Smokey Robinson.

Playing in a wide variety of musical styles,Kerwin is equally at ease playing Rock, Jazz, Classical and Bluegrass. Among his many accomplishments, he's toured with the Larry Blackshere trio, mandolinist’s David Grisman Quintet, with whom he continues to play and has performed and recorded with a world of string artists such as Martin Taylor, Stephane Grappelli, Jerry Garcia and many others.

Curt has been playing drums for over 50 years, and has shared the stage and recording studio with a wide variety of artists spanning many musical styles. He has over 100 recordings to his credit. Some of the artists he has recorded and performed with include: Francisco Aguabella, Count Basie Orchestra, Chuck Berry, Ray Brown, Joyce Cooling, John Clayton, Richard Davis, Ian Dogole, Pete Escovedo, Bruce Forman, among others.
