Marilyn Ezzy Ashcraft is the Mayor of the City of Alameda. Elected to the position in 2018, it was only 15 months later she found herself at the forefront of the developing COVID-19 pandemic. As her term comes to a close, Mayor Ashcraft reflects on her years of public service to both the city and the greater Bay Area, recounts her lessons and successes, and looks forward to projects set in motion that will benefit Alameda in the years to come.
