Jim Sintetos

Jim’s path into jazz began behind the scenes, working in recording studios as a young engineer, surrounded by musicians and the creative process. Later in life, his passion for jazz was recognized by a jazz festival director who encouraged him to bring that love to radio programming.

He went on to spend more than a decade hosting and curating jazz programming, including two years running a dedicated jazz station. Over the years, he has also conducted more than 200 interviews with jazz artists—conversations that have helped shape his perspective and deepen his connection to the music. The result is an approach that’s thoughtful, wide-ranging, and always evolving.
