WHAT HAPPENED TO SPRING PLEDGE DRIVE?

When the COVID-19 pandemic happened, we realized this was going to have a tremendous (negative) impact on the wider circle of our jazz community, namely musicians and music events. With the mandatory shelter-in-place, we saw millions of people across the country lose their jobs too, so we felt we needed to be sensitive to these conditions.

Although Spring Pledge has always been critical to ensuring we end our fiscal year in the black, we made the tough decision not to hold a Sprng Pledge Drive and continue to just be there for you, a place you could find comfort, a bit of joy and be your certainty in these uncertain times.

Now, like everyone else we are trying to get back to a new normal and figure out how to do business a little different.

FALL PLEDGE DRIVE

Our live Fall Pledge Drive began on Friday, August 28, 2020. Throughout the drive, we are celebrating what would have been the 100th birthday of Charlie Parker, 94th birthday of John Coltrane, the 90th birthdays of Clifford Brown and Sonny Rollins. Sonny Buxton will bring you a Singer's Special, and Jesse "Chuy" Varela is throwing a Cuban Dance Party.

WILL THERE BE VOLUNTEERS?

Because the health and safety of our staff and volunteers is very important, for the first time ever, there are no volunteers here at the studio to take your calls. We encourage you to go to the web and show your support. For those who still want to call, our call center is standing by to help you at (800) 527-6911, and you can always download our donation form and snail mail it with a check.

MEMBERSHIP SERVICES

We are working remotely through the end of the year, so phone communication will be delayed. We will do our best to respond as circumstances allow, but right now the best way to contact us is by email.

PROCESSING YOUR CHECK

Our staff is allowed limited access to our offices, which has resulted in delayed check processing. We are working hard to ensure donations received by check are deposited as quickly as possible.
