Charlene Wexler joins the conversation week on Like It is to talk about her novel, Murder on Skid Row. The 81-year old novelist’s work, Murder on Skid Row, is a brilliant blend of pathos, humor and characters whose secrets hold fatal consequences. Murder on Skid Row is a murder mystery with more tension than a visit to the dentist. Chicago’s Skid Row may be long gone as a result of gentrification to this area of the city, but Wexler brings it back to life in her novel.
